Beard yellow tipt; haft reticulated light mallow purple to beard.

From Quality Gardens 1929 catalog: A uniform shade of deep rose pink. The beard is light orange and adds a very pleasing color tone. Very free flowering and of robust constitution. Very tall spike bearing 4 to 5 flowers open at the same time. The flower is beautifully shaped and of great substance, 3 1/2 feet tall. Rhizomes are always small.
