I am on a quest for the name of my purple/white amoena. (this is just one of many historics I have, but have put some names to a few.) Mine was originally sold to me as "Wabash", but I am 100% sure it is not that.

I am still trying to I.D. mine, although a person I know told me that it is probably Mrs. Andrist, I beg to differ. My flower has white striping quite
a bit further down the fall than Mrs. Andrist, and the flower falls are more round than Mrs. Andrist and not as long. It does have purple based foliage, though.

The flower size (I would say) is a MTB, although I do not have any to compare them to. The tall bearded's I have are about twice the size of
flower in comparison. Height up to 28", usually a little shorter.

Thanks! You can put this on the HIPS site if you wish, as an un-known amoena from Shauna Cannon. This particular variety is indeed THE most
popular iris here in the Edmonton area of Alberta. (zone 3)
